Are you interested in a z-independent boot that routes under-the-gantry AND includes a 4" hose intake?  Then our Dust Boot v9 is exactly what you're looking for.  v9 comes with the same great features as our other designs... z-axis independence, removable Face part (for easy access during bit changes), rear mounted hose design (to maximize front access to your whole assembly), and most importantly a 4" hose intake.

There are a few very important things to be aware of before buying:
  1. This boot fits our standard z-independent bracketing systems and we only have bracketing designed for machines listed in the drop-down. Adding other machines is a very slow process but you can ask support@pwncnc.com to be put into the design queue.
  2. You MUST have (or are buying) our ultimate hose clamp with a 4" attachment. The 4" Vertical UHC Attachment is available separately if you already have the UHC. You'll also be expected to have a velcro strap or band clamp to secure the hose to the UHC. 4" hoses are extremely heavy and these boots are VERY long. You can/will not expect the boot to hold such a gigantic 4" hose by itself.
  3. I have only tested this out on my personal machines... Shapeoko Pro and Onefinity. It does NOT have field validation... thus you are buying what is essentially an unproven boot that only incorporates my years of experience. Know going into this that there may be problems. You are expected, but not required, to provide feedback on the problems to support@pwncnc.com and give us ample time to properly address them.
  4. If you are unhappy with the v9 boot for any reason, know that after the first use, full refunds are not available. However, returning it will earn you a partial trade-in provided in the form of store credit.

Lack of attachment package

The dust boot does no good unless it is attached to the cnc. Can't you sell a kit for attaching the boot to the cnc?.

Dust boot works great - Item Description on website is confusing however

I ordered the dustboot as I was also buying the 80mm spindle. My previous setup was a 60mm makita router and the pwncnc dustboot that I ordered with my initial onefinity x-50 journeyman. The directions to put the V9 dustboot together are pretty straightforward however there are parts left over after finishing the build with no mention of what these parts are for. Additionally, there was no brush shipped with the unit. On another note, the decision tree process to initially order the dustboot is confusing. The item description on the website goes into great detail about how you must have the UHC system for this dustboot to work, It also does mention you must have a z-independent bracketing system, but since I already had a z-independent PWNCNC bracketing system, I figured this would work. It does not. This required me to order another bracket, had the website been more clear I would have ordered the Z-independent bracketing system that works with the V9 and the Z-20. The fact that you need a UHC is made ABUNDANTLY clear in the description, the fact that you need a specific z-independent bracket is not.

V9 Dust Boot Great service

Just used the product this weekend and it works great. Onefinity Elite machine with 2hp dust collector 4" hose. Product showed up missing one magnet and the brush but they sent the replacement parts out the next day. Was easy to put together and the front removal piece it great for changing bits.
