Not completely satisfied

After my bitsetter went down on my Shapeoko 4, I turned to PwnCNC and their “bit collars”!

Great idea but they did not work for me! After watching their video and the video they suggested from Chris at full steam designs, they kept leaving a ledge and would not work to my satisfaction! So I bit the bullet so to speak and bought another bitsetter and I am again off to the races!

I did contact PwnCNC and they were unable to answer my question as to how to make the end mill and 60 degree V bit cut at the same depth!

I was pretty surprised when my question was not answered and no matter how many times I tried the technique they gave me (4 times = 4 failures) I just gave up!

Again, it sounds like it should work but it did not for me! Good luck!
