ZYLtech Glow-in-the-Dark Luminous PLA Filament

ZYLtech Glow-in-the-Dark Luminous PLA filament adds a fun, eye-catching glow effect to your 3D prints. In normal lighting, prints have their standard filament appearance, but after being charged with bright light, they come alive in the dark with a luminous glow.

This specialty PLA is perfect for decorations, signs, toys, cosplay details, Halloween projects, ornaments, gifts, night-time displays, game pieces, and novelty prints. Use it anywhere you want to add an element of surprise and make your prints stand out when the lights go down.

For the best glow effect, charge finished prints under direct sunlight, UV light, or a bright LED light. Once fully charged, the glow is most visible in a dark room for approximately 10–30 minutes.

Printing Tips

Glow-in-the-dark filament contains abrasive luminous additives that can wear brass nozzles. For best results, use a hardened steel or stainless steel nozzle, especially if you plan to print more than a small amount.

To get the strongest glow, charge the finished print under direct sunlight, UV light, or at least a bright 60W-equivalent LED light. A small flashlight may not provide enough energy to fully activate the glow effect.

For rainbow or multi-glow colors, strong UV light or direct sunlight is especially important. Green fluorescence is typically the strongest glow color, so if the print is not charged enough, green may overpower the other colors.

Store filament sealed and dry when not in use to help maintain smooth feeding, consistent extrusion, and clean print quality.
