BK12 / BF12 Ball Screw Support Blocks

The BK12 and BF12 ball screw support blocks provide secure bearing support for the machined ends of compatible CNC ball screws.

The BK12 fixed support block controls the position of the ball screw and supports axial and radial loading. The BF12 floating support block supports the opposite end while allowing the screw to compensate for slight thermal expansion during operation.

Choose the support type needed for your repair, machine build, or motion-system upgrade. A typical ball screw axis uses one BK12 fixed support and one BF12 floating support.

Choosing the Correct Support

• BK12: Select this model for the fixed or driven end of the ball screw.
• BF12: Select this model for the floating or supported end of the ball screw.

The BK12 and BF12 perform different functions and are not interchangeable. Many complete axis assemblies require one of each.

Ball screw, ball nut, motor, motor cage, shaft coupler, and machine mounting hardware are not included unless specifically shown or stated.

Compatibility Notice

The “12” designation refers to the support-block series and compatible machined ball-screw journal dimensions. It does not necessarily mean the main threaded portion of the ball screw measures 12mm.

Verify the machined end dimensions and mounting pattern of your ball screw before ordering. Compatibility with every third-party ball screw or custom machine is not guaranteed.
