🛠️ Spindle Mount Adapter Plate

Our universal spindle mount (sold separately) is designed to work with a wide range of CNC machines. To make that possible, we’ve developed adapter plates tailored for each compatible model.

Important Notes

Adapter Plate Only – This product includes just the adapter plate. The spindle mount is sold separately.
Stock & Lead Time – Not all plates are kept in regular stock. Some variants are built to order and may cost more. These custom or out-of-stock plates may require an additional 2–4 weeks for delivery.
Custom Plates Available – If your CNC machine isn’t listed, we can design a custom adapter plate for you. We’ll need your measurements and may ask for your assistance during the design process to ensure a perfect fit.

Spindle Mount - Adapter Plates

Spindle Mount and Adapter Plates - Longmill MK2

80mm spindle mount and adapter plates for the Sienci Longmill MK2 are very solid, lightweight and milling is nearly perfect. Only downside is the spindle cannot be locked in the mount independently (I believe the middle bolt is too long so it tensions the spindle using the adapter plate, not the front and back parts of the mount) so any adjustment requires retramming. It’s particularly a challenge to tram Y/front-back. The spindle has to be removed/extra hands to hold it in order to loosen the mounting bolts and place wedges.

Great product

Fits great, solid adapter plate. The only thing that could be a little better is that if you have sensors installed you will lose approximately 1/2" of z-axis clearance. If there were a notch in the top plate at the sensor location to maintain the top elevation of the original z axis plate then the full z-height could be maintained. Normally not an issue unless you are using the rotary.
