ZYLtech PLA Filament

ZYLtech PLA filament is an affordable, reliable, and easy-to-print 3D printing material designed for everyday makers, hobbyists, schools, shops, and production users. PLA is the most widely used 3D printing filament thanks to its excellent balance of print quality, ease of use, color selection, and value.

This filament is a great choice for prototypes, models, signs, organizers, fixtures, decorative prints, display pieces, educational projects, and general-purpose 3D printing. It feeds smoothly, prints consistently, and works well on most standard FDM/FFF 3D printers, including both Bowden and direct-drive setups.

ZYLtech PLA is made using virgin NatureWorks resin and is formulated for dependable extrusion, consistent color, and reliable results from spool to spool. More ZYLtech PLA colors are now being produced at their Houston, Texas facility, with Made in USA products clearly marked on applicable packaging.

Recommended Print Settings

• Extruder Temperature: 190–220°C

• Bed Temperature: 0–60°C

• Nozzle: 0.4mm standard

• Layer Height: 0.12–0.28mm depending on desired detail and print speed

• Print Speed: 40–70mm/s as a good starting range

• Cooling: Part cooling fan recommended

Printing Tips

ZYLtech PLA prints well with most standard PLA slicer profiles. Start with your printer’s generic PLA profile, then adjust temperature, speed, and cooling based on your desired finish and part strength.

For cleaner details and sharper overhangs, use adequate part cooling. For stronger layer adhesion, print toward the higher end of the recommended temperature range and avoid excessive cooling.

Use a clean build surface and properly tuned first layer for best bed adhesion. Store filament sealed and dry when not in use to maintain smooth feeding, consistent extrusion, and clean surface quality.

Note About Made in USA Colors

ZYLtech is transitioning more PLA colors to production at their Houston, Texas facility. Made in USA spools are clearly marked with a Made in USA banner or sticker where applicable. Specifications may vary slightly between current stock and newly produced USA-made colors, so check the individual color listing or packaging for final details.
